So, I have decided to jump on the technological bandwagon and try out the blogging world!  Since this is my first attempt at blogging, I want to start off with a disclaimer; I am not promising that these blogs will be amusing, grammatically correct, or even interesting, but I am excited to start this new adventure.
After reading my friend Lauren’s blog, I thought that this would be an amazing opportunity to share with friends and family what is going on in the Kane world. More importantly, I want to use the blogging experience to capture the memories of my beautiful and fastly growing baby boy.
I plan to post new blog entries as new and exciting changes in the Kane family occur, so if I am not writing, it only means that nothing very interesting is going on.
So here’s to the first of many entries in the Kane family Adventures!

Since I am new to the blogging world, I have a lot to catch up on. Here are some of the highlights from over the last two and a half months since Corban has entered the world:
August 27, 2010- Corban is born weighing 9 lbs 2 ounces and was 21 ½ inches long

September 3, 2010- We made it to the one week mark with Corban all in one piece!

September 24, 2010- Corban’s first smile
September 27, 2010- Corban turned 1 month old and weighed 11 lbs 8 ounces and was 22 ½ inches

October 13, 2010- First family road trip to Arizona for Becca and Luther’s wedding, Corban slept the entire 10 hours there!
October 19, 2010- Corban’s first trip to the pumpkin patch!

October 27, 2010- Corban turned 2 months old and had his first round of shots. He did surprisingly well and only cried for about 15 seconds. We have him on an alternative vaccine schedule though so he only got one shot. We go back for more on 11/22. He weighed 13 lbs 13 ounces and was 24 inches long; he is in the 90th percentile all the way around.

October 28, 2010- Celebrating Corban’s first Halloween by going to Farmer’s Market in his duck costume.

November 11, 2010- Corban’s first playdate with his buddy Wes. Wes is 6 weeks older then Corban, but they are pretty much the same size. They liked playing with one another so much! They held hands and Wes loved to suck on Corban’s arm.

November 13, 2010- Corban’s first college football game. We went to the Cal Poly vs. UC Davis football game, and surprisingly Corban was able to sleep through most of it despite the loud crowd. When he was awake he loved every minute of it and was so alert!

So that is my cliff notes version of these last two and a half months! I promise to be a little more in depth with the next update!!!
